Biography
Kasim Bener is the founder and executive chairman of MS-Architecture, an international office for architecture, construction management, and, urbanism and design. He was born in Siirt, Turkey, and moved to Istanbul when he was ten years old. After graduating from Yildiz Technical University in 1987, he worked for several years before establishing his own practice.
In 1990, he established MS-Architecture in Istanbul. Over more than three decades the practice has evolved and professionalized on a wide range of work, from hospitals and research centers, hotels, civic buildings, urban masterplans, offices and retails to private houses and product design. Significant projects include Middle-East Health Center and Aydosland Residences in Turkey, Global Mass City, Basra, and Hilla Research and Educational Hospitals in Iraq
